Rockpoint Closes $230m NYC Hotel Deal

In November 2010, Rockpoint Group acquired the Milford Plaza Hotel, a 1,301-key hotel including approximately 20,000 square feet of retail space located on an entire block-front of Eighth Avenue between 44th Street and 45th Street in New York City. Rockpoint acquired this investment in a joint-venture with Highgate Holdings, and they plan to invest more than $75 million in a complete renovation of the historic building.
